Locals ruin the experience

点评：Beautiful golf course! We enjoyed playing the first nine holes at this golf course. However, on the second nine we noticed that the people behind us were extremely good golfers and asked if they wanted to play through since 2 of us are new to golf. The threesome in front of us had been slow the entire time but we thought this would give us some extra time, so we asked the group behind us if they wanted to play through. They said yes and it was not until we waited for them to tee off that they informed us they were with 5 groups behind them playing the same way. In the end we waited for them to tee off at holes because they were waiting for the group in front of them. If they had stated right away, they were with a large group we would have continued to play. When we were finished and in the clubhouse the group behind us made negative remarks about how they played through and made that group have to watch us play. Everyone in the clubhouse knew these people. In the future if "locals" are playing their own mini tournament please let the people playing before them know. It really ruins the entire day playing behind rude golfers.
