点评:Yelkot Yelkot Jai Malhar. The temple is dedicated to Shiva Avatar Khandoba.
Overall, my experience was good. The entire temple premise is full of Turmeric, which gives it a golden hue. And the turmeric smell all around is quite refreshing.
I had a good darshan.
Few Pointers:
1. There are two entrances from which you can climb up the stairs. From the front side, the stairs are slippery, but if you go from the back, they are pretty good.
2. There are approx 150 stairs divided into 4-5 steps. The last 10-15 steps are a little steep. Even senior citizens can climb them in 15-20 minutes.
3. Free Show stand is available at the top.
4. You can buy INR 200 per person pass to avoid long queues.
5. Dress modestly in the temple.
6. Expect your feet and clothes to become yellow due to turmeric.
7. The temple is pretty clean.
8. You can also get yourself photographed wearing a typical topi and with the sword.
The charges are pretty economical, so suggest to have a family picture clicked.
