What a spectacular Experience! Id go back again!

点评：I have no idea how some people could give such poor reviews. I had absolutely the best diving trip! I have been diving for 36 years, and I've never had an experience like this. While I can acknowledge that the boat anchored in a safe harbor on the reef and stayed in one spot, there was absolutely no pollution anywhere! Although the water was green, it teemed with life, and I even snorkeled in it alongside the gators.
The diving experience was diverse and enjoyable. The visibility was 100 feet on most dives, and we encountered plenty of sharks. Goliath groupers weighed 400 pounds or more and were as friendly as a St. Bernard. We also saw turtles that required a little barnacle removal. Both micro- and macro-marine life were abundant.
The cabins were cleaned daily, and I had a couple of pieces of laundry done each day for a minimal fee. I never tapped out my drink allotment. The food was nothing short of spectacular! I lost count, but I believe we had lobster three or four nights. I ate like a horse and still lost 10 pounds, which is typical for me when I'm diving.
The boat staff was as friendly as I could have expected. The divemasters were very accommodating. The night dives were nothing overly spectacular, but every dive is different.
I would encourage anyone to have at least a basic understanding of Spanish.
The recommended tipping is a bit high, but I tipped even higher because I received such great service. The staff enjoys chocolates and dive trinkets that are very difficult to get in Cuba. I left them a UV torch and an underwater laser to help them point out things. whiteboard markets and other basic supplies are greatly
appreciated.
