Kuti Wildlife Reserve的点评
点评：This is a really nice low impact wildlife reserve. It was really refreshing to visit somewhere in Malawi that has sustainability in mind in how it designs a visitor experience. It is also excellent value for money.
The staff are very knowledgeable and willing to share their knowledge generously. I joined the bird walk and we saw many species. And I HIGHLY recommend doing the horse riding, your guide takes you off the tracks and deep into the bush, they help you see animals you wouldn't spot yourself and by being on a horse the animals don't run away because they respond to the horse as a fellow animal rather than the human as a potential threat. This really is an exceptional way to experience safari, it must be tried and is well worth every single penny!
They are also incredibly helpful and fast to respond to emails and WhatsApp while you arrange your booking and when you are there.
Come here for a down to earth experience of being quietly immersed in nature. I ate all my meals in the restaurant as I was on my own without a vehicle, which is perfectly fine and reasonably priced you just let the staff know what you want when and they'll have it ready (and then adapt if your plans change). But I would highly recommend coming here with your own camping catering set up and you will be able to peacefully take care of yourselves.
I also had a wonderful time connecting with the other guests and learning more about Malawi.
Kuti is well done simplicity, that is the beauty of it. I stayed in a little chalet and it was perfect, the shower block is also well done with plenty of cold water and someone will light a fire and make hot water for you if you want (I was here in Oct and wanted my shower to cool me off so was very happy with the cold!)
