点评：There are a more than a few streets in the old town area that leads up an incline to the Hallsgrimskirkja. The area is scaled for walking as all structures are low rise, streets are not restricted for cars, but there weren’t many along the narrow lane ways. You really can’t get lost and should meander freely to see a lot of shops catering to the tourists, cafes and restaurants as everything is not only on one street. There are lots of shops that sell Icelandic merchandise and clothes so shop around before you buy.
Since it’s an easy walk everywhere in the area, you can also consider walking in other directions to other attractions and shops nearby.
Overall: Its generally a nice spot to stroll around for the vibe and poke your head in whenever you see something interesting. What you buy or don’t buy is up to you.
