点评:I’ve visited a lot of markets around the world and this was definitely one of the most interesting. It’s about a 40 minute walk from the centre of town, easy to find. Highlights were- no hassle at all, no pressure to buy even when picking things up; local market rather than for tourists; the meat section was fascinating and filled with unidentifiable body parts (mainly equine); be sure to find the dairy stalls and try the horse milk; the hardware section which has stalls of horse equipment and military surplus. I have read a few reviews and blogs where people say they never found the souvenir stalls. There are only about 4, next to the hardware market. If you look on google maps and the market is a clock face between Chuy avenue at the top and Kiev street at the bottom, the souvenir stalls are roughly at 2 o’clock. I spent a couple of hours at the bazar and enjoyed it a lot. No guide needed, just wander and enjoy!
