点评:I first visited the Eisenhower Pier back in 2000 when my friend and I stayed the night in Bangor and rose early in the morning to watch the native black headed gulls that were not bothered by us at the time.
Fast forward 24 years later and whilst in Belfast I wanted to revisit Bangor to remember our great visit and see how different the area was so I got the train from Lanyon place and it was a short ride to get to Bangor.
The marina is a short walk from the station and it was full of boats. The Eisenhower Pier is part of the harbour and you can walk along to top of it and get some magnificent views of the area and also out to sea.
There are some lovely mosaics on the side of the pier which are worth admiring and it is a really nice place to take a walk at the beginning and end of the day.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
