点评：Sonja and Steve are very professional hosts and very accommodating.
I booked this short break quite late in the day as my planned golf trip to Turkey was cancelled on medical advice.
We booked through Hoseasons and found the process easy to follow.
We arrived on schedule as agreed with Sonja via text and both Steve and Sonja we’re there to greet us. Sonja showed us the Willow boathouse and explained about the River Yare being tidal and the boathouse floating. She showed us our parking spot and provided some background information. Sonja and Steve also provide a cart which saved us carrying our luggage over the gravel/stoned walk to the jetty where the boathouse is moored. The fact the boathouse floats was fairly easy to manage even with my bad leg. Occasionally we had to pull the boathouse close to the jetty to step into her.
The location is ideal if you want to explore the surrounding areas which we did. The boathouse is fully equipped with all mod cons including Tassimo coffee machine. Local shops and facilities are nearby to buy food and other consumables etc. We used the hot tub a few times despite the wet weather. It was nice to just relax there for 20 minutes. The boathouse doesn’t have a conventional shower and only provides over the bath shower. Although not ideal it was good enough for our short stay. The jacuzzi bath more than made up for it. The only negative we had was the Wi-Fi dropping in and out but Sonja explained they had done all they could to improve the signal, this is hard wired from their office but the whole bay is similar with low signal strength.
We really enjoyed our stay and meeting Sonja and Steve who were great hosts. The Willow House boathouse is a great place to chill out and relax for couples.
