Seydisfjordur Church的点评
点评：This small but characteristic church is set in the town of Seydisfjordur. Decorated in a blue colour with a white outline it has a rainbow road leading up to the entrance. If you have seen the film the secret life of Walter Mitty you will have seen the town he skateboards into, this is it.
When we arrived around midday it was busy and difficult to get a clear photo of the church with the rainbow road. We were getting up early the next morning to move to our next part of the ring road and decided to visit the church at around 6am we had the place to ourselves and recommend visiting this time for photos of the outside.
We came towards the end of the Icelandic summer and the roads to get to the town were very winding and incredibly steep, we had thick fog and it was a bit of a sketchy drive. If you are staying in the town or visiting as part of a cruise we would 100% visit the church if not we wouldn’t recommend visiting just for this especially in winter. We were staying at hotel Aldan (the bank) and it was walking distance to the church.
