Fascinating small museum, well worth a visit!

点评：We live locally and had been meaning to visit for years! The museum is located in a military base, therefore there are barriers and security to get through, which might be a little off putting at first. However, we were met by a charming and personable lady who told us where to park and directed us to the museum. Note: photo ID (eg driving licence) is required. The museum itself is absolutely fascinating! There is SO much to learn and the information boards are all easy to read and understand. There are many interesting exhibits (some quite gory!) and lots of information about the history of medicine (not just military), which would be excellent for a student studying this module of GCSE History. The layout is well thought out, spacious and in chronological order. There is also a small shop with some unusual items o
On sale. We very much enjoyed our visit, and would certainly return. Definitely recommended. There is no entry fee, although donations are welcomed.
