Muskoka Discovery Centre的点评
点评： There is much more to see than the entrance might suggest. I thought the MDC was fascinating on many levels; history of the area, indigenous people past and present, animal habitat and life, conservation efforts, history of Muskoka steamships, and a boat house with beautiful craft and interesting facts about them. I was in the museum for 4 hours, taking it all in. Granted, I tend to read nearly every word. Fair to say that for many visitors, an hour or two minimum would be sufficient.
The staff was helpful and kind. The gift shop had lots of good stuff, including literature and kid-friendly items.
We rode on Wenonah II earlier in the week. Our ticket from that excursion gave us a reduced rate admission to MDC. The experience on Wenonah II was lovely and it enhanced the experience at MDC.
I highly recommend you consider visiting MDC.
