OK Wine but VERY Pushy to Join the Wine Club

点评：Unfortunately, all this place cares about is you joining their wine club. I went with my family last July and had a nice experience. We did a tasting and got a wine lesson directly from the owner. After convincing us that he was the top winery in Georgia, we agreed to join his wine club. Unfortunately, our first shipment was just OK and not as good as the wine we had tasted on-site. There were also several blends and styles we had never heard of and no cards or descriptions of what they were.
Fast forward to late September, I was visiting Dahlonega on a girls trip with some friends and we booked the Wine Club Members Dinner. The experience was painful. We showed up and I went to the owner and reminded him I had just been there with my family 2 months prior and brought some friends to experience the winery and he immediately replied with "Did you join my wine club?" I said yes and then he turned to my friends and asked the same thing and they replied no, this was their first time there. He then said OK and walked away.
Dinner was the longest and most drawn-out experience ever. The food was good but they SLOWLY brought out several full courses along with a wine but never once came out to explain why that particular wine was being paired with dinner. It took several hours for this dinner to conclude and we ended up leaving during dessert.
This past July, we were back in Dahlonega with our family and went to give the winery one more shot. Since joining, all of our boxes of wine has been delivered with unusual blends and still no description. Of course, as soon as we visited, we were asked if we were wine club members and proceeded to tell us why we are the best and tried to get my in-laws to join. That's all they seem to care about and it felt very pushy.
We cancelled our membership and will not go back. There are plenty of wonderful wineries who care about their wine and not their memberships. Go to Montaluce or Cavender Creek. Better wine, better views, and ZERO push to buy bottles, let alone join the club.

我们已经取消了会员资格，也再也不会光顾了。其实有很多优秀的酒庄，它们真正关心的是自己的葡萄酒品质，而非会员数量。去Montaluce或Cavender Creek吧。那里的葡萄酒更出色，景色也更美，而且绝对不会有人强迫你买酒，更不会劝你加入会员俱乐部。
