Small but old world magic if you just imagine!
Beaumaris Castle的点评
点评：Had a lovely visit to Beaumaris over the Bank Holiday weekend. Staff were welcoming and informed us the site was boosted by activities which was a pleasant surprise.
The castle oozes old world charm and you can only imagine what might have been. Walking the walls, discovering dead ends and corridors was a source of much enjoyment for all the family (teen and pre-teen with mum and dad).
The actors dressed up and offering sword fights, archery and laughs were a nice addition and not overwhelming (as they can be at other venues!!) and for no extra cost.
Not a huge amount to read or learn around the site (I guess plaques and info boards divide opinion).
Spent about 2hrs here and not on the warmest of days. The views over the Menai straight and to the distant mountains were glorious.
