点评：We booked a private float trip with Dornan’s Scenic River Trips for our family while vacationing in the Jackson area last week. We had 10 adults and one small child, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish.
The meeting location was easy to find, and after a quick, nearby shuttle ride, we were on the boat and ready to go. Our guide, Jordan, was outstanding—friendly, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable about the area and the river. He made everyone feel at ease, especially a few family members who were nervous about the idea of rapids. This particular float was very calm and relaxing, with no rapids at all—perfect for all ages and comfort levels.
Along the way, we spotted an eagle and some elk, though wildlife was fairly limited that morning. Still, the views of the Tetons were absolutely breathtaking, and the peaceful atmosphere made it a memorable and grounding experience.
If you’re considering this activity, I highly recommend going first thing in the morning when it’s still cool and quiet on the water. It's a perfect way to start the day and take in the beauty of the landscape.
