Bowood House & Gardens的点评
点评：Bowood House and gardens has been a wonderful experience all through the 2025 season. It has been very beneficial for both my physical & mental health walking miles a week in beautiful surroundings.
My wife & I joined as members on the recommendation of our neighbour & friend Neil.
The Woodland Gardens in the spring were stunning! No two visits were the same as all the colours changed so fast through the weeks.
Jane always welcomed us with a warm smile and was happy to answer questions about the garden. The Nosh Box cafe was fantastic for coffee and homemade cakes!
The Main House and gardens have been a joy all summer and now look fantastic in the autumn colours.
The Treehouse cafe at the entrance is a real favourite . All of the staff are incredibly welcoming and friendly. The coffee is brilliant , as is the food. The Carrot cake is the best I’ve tasted!
All of the team on the entrance gate are also very friendly and welcoming! If you have any questions they are always happy to help if they can.
In the Arboretum as well as the wonderful trees I’ve loved seeing hares, deer and if lucky the Ravens!
The lake is a natural habitat for hundreds of wild birds. It has been wonderful watching the geese, swans, signets, grebe, ducks and Heron feeding and getting up to mischief!
The Gardening Team work tirelessly but are always friendly with a wave & hello. I don’t go into the house very often but on the occasions I have the staff are very knowledgeable and some of the history is very interesting.
My thanks to all of the brilliant staff as well as the family for allowing us to enjoy your beautiful slice of quintessential British countryside.
