Koala heaven.
考拉医院的点评
点评：We are on vacation and wanted to see Koalas.
This hospital was the one we saw on the news at home in England appealingly for help to rehabilitate the Koalas in the Sydney Bush fires 5 years ago.
The visit began by learning about the Marsupials which was very well done.
I think it is good they are charging for entrance to help continue and prevent the work to divert extinction predicted in 25 years. The volunteers were so enthusiastic I was left wishing I could stay over here and help!
We then visited the new facility a 15 minute drive by car. This is a super building , constructed using the money donated from the bush fires. There is a huge kids tree play park in the front. Inside there is a pioneer breeding program . The aim is to reintroduced the Koalas into the wild.
I would highly recommend a visit to see the amazing work being done and see the sleepy Koalas and hear their story of why they are at the hospital.
