Good Decisions, A Scrapped Dive, yet Good Times

点评：We booked a two-tank dive with Iguana Divers for early-ish November. Our two dive masters/instructors, Offa and Elly, were fantastic - as was the panga's captain, Eric. There was one other couple with us. On our way to the first site, Elly spotted humpback whales - and we took our time following them. This was not our first time seeing them, but we'd never been as close. When we arrived at the first site, Elly descended to the site to check conditions and returned with the disappointing news that the visibility was low and the current a bit strong. The decision was made to try another site, which was not that close; but, alas, the same conditions prevailed. We scrapped the trip with the decision to try again two days later. Cindy, the owner of Iguana Divers, contacted us the day after the scrapped dive to inform us that the conditions weren't looking good for the next day. She provided the option of either diving the day after or giving us a refund. Unfortunately, we had to opt for the refund as we were leaving Santa Teresa that day.
We appreciated the fact that everyone put safety first, good decisions were made, and the refund was prompt. This is a perfect model not only for business and professionalism but for outdoor activities - if not life in general - safety first, a gung-ho attitude, and friendly people. If we return to Santa Teresa, we'll book again.
