点评：What a wonderful experience this three day tour from Kigali to Uganda's Bwindi National Park was! Arranging the trip with Nelson was easy and professional. He explained what was required and made arrangements with the pick up and the lodge, which was the Four Gorillas Lodge.
Chrysh, the driver, was very prompt, very courteous and professional. He knew the best places to stop for photos and was an excellent driver on some undeveloped roads. I am grateful also for his suggestion to visit the Pygmy (Batwa) village.
Four Gorilla Lodge was superb and the GM, Sophan, ran a wonderful outfit. The room, an independent cabin, was incredibly relaxing and enjoyable. The food served was delicious!
The actual tour and hike was amazing. Lawrence was the guide and he was a star who spotted 2 rare forest elephants. We were introduced to a singing troupe from the Pygmy village and this was quite lively and thrilling.
The hike was easy and then we saw the family of gorillas!!! Wow! breath taking! Absolutely amazing! The gorillas were just feet from us and exhibited no signs of being afraid. We were able to get a ton of photos and videos.
An amazing experience and Chrysh, Nelson, Lawrence, Sophan and others all contributed to make this one of the highlights of 2024 for me.
