Nice Outdoor Pool But Inside In Need Of An Upgrade

点评：We're lucky to have an open air pool so close to us. Tried it for the first time a couple of weeks ago and we were impressed with the size of it & the fact you can sit outside & sunbathe if you want to on the loungers which are provided. You can take your own food & drink too, though there are facilities to purchase these.
As mentioned in other reviews, parking has to be paid for.
It was supposed to be a heated pool @ 24 degrees, but it didn't feel it, even on a sunny day! We went inside to the indoor pool which was obviously a lot warmer but, to be honest, was rather beastly. The white ceramic edging around the pool was filthy & in need of a damn good clean.
The changing facilities were poor, especially in the showers where there was no shower gel/shampoo etc. (luckily we had brought our own), no shelving to place anything on & just one hook on the door. The showers themselves were pretty pathetic too - the push button variety where if you were lucky, you got 3 seconds of water coming out which was really irritating. You had to keep your body or hand on the button to get any more. This taking frugality a bit far.
After showering, there was no spin machine provided to wring out wet swimwear & just two hairdryers were offered - 1 for males & 1 for females - where you stood & dried your hair (very slowly) in front of a mirror. I appreciate this isn't a hotel or spa, but I expected more, as at other leisure centres.
Unlikely to be back until the facilities have been cleaned & updated.
