A really lovely wildlife park

点评：Lovely wildlife park with lots of friendly wallabies and kangaroos hopping about. The Koalas probably steal the show though. Their enclosures allow you to get up pretty close and there were talks from handlers where you could see them even closer, so much so that paying for their behind the scenes experience seemed expensive. Animal welfare is high and the free staff talks show real passion for conservation. A really lovely wildlife park.
The park is a few miles outside of Adelaide but is easily accessible by public transport as long as you plan your day well. There appeared to be only three buses per day that go up and down Mount Lofty with regular local bus connections from Adelaide. Ours stopped at Lofty Summit on the way up for 10mins and the driver gave us the opportunity to take a look out at the view point before carrying on to the wildlife park.
