点评：The Caramoor Center For Music & The Arts is a gorgeous music and arts venue and a must visit destination of Westchester County, New York.
In June of 2023, I brought and treated my wife and myself for a guided tour of the Rosen House, located at the Caramoor Center, and we were very much enjoyed our experience there.
The Caramoor Center was once the private estate of Walter Rosen, a highly successful attorney and investment banker and his spouse, Lucie Rosen, a gifted Thermin soloist. They both shared a huge passion for art and music, and together, they helped found the Caramoor Summer Music Festival, an annual music festival that’s held at the estate.
When touring the Rosen House, our tour guide did a great job on explaining the upbringing, life and careers of Walter & Lucie Rosen, their immense passion for the arts and music and helped showcase their vast collection of eclectic art. My wife and I found the Rosen House to be amazing, and were in awe of the beautiful art and furnishings. Our favorite room of the house was undoubtedly the Music Room. The room is quite expansive, features impressive art, and when considering the interests of Rosens, the heart and center of the house.
Following the death of Ms, Rosen in 1968, the Rosen House opened to the public for guided tours and the estate functions as a live music venue for symphonic, opera, chamber, American roots, and jazz, performances.
In addition to visiting the exquisite Rosen House, both my wife had fun viewing and taking pictures of the estate’s magnificent gardens, and its music venues, which includes the Venetian Theatre and Spanish Courtyard.
Both my wife and I highly recommended that everyone visit and explore the Caramoor Center For Music & The Arts, a unique and majestic destination!!!
