Disappointing Experience – Poor Service, Limited Amenities, and No Resolution

点评:We visited Schlitterbahn Galveston on 8/9–8/10 and left extremely disappointed. The customer service and overall park operations were far below expectations.
First, the staff we encountered were consistently rude and unhelpful. It felt like guests were an inconvenience rather than the reason the park exists. Half the food outlets weren’t even open, and for the ones that were, none had working fountain drink machines or ice available. For a summer waterpark in Texas, that’s completely unacceptable.
The main attraction, which requires large floats, only had two working ones for the entire day. This led to long waits and frustrated guests. We had a fast pass and still waited over an hour.
We originally had tickets for Saturday, but due to a full park closure for no power (which we were told is a regular occurrence), we were given the choice to return on Sunday — which had shorter park hours — or come back before September. No refund or other compensation was offered for the lost time.
I reached out to their customer support email and received no resolution. I contacted both guestrelations@sixflags.com and vipsupport@sixflags.com. When I called, I was actually hung up on. At this point, it’s clear they have no interest in making things right for paying customers. I'll be handling with my cc company at this point.
Schlitterbahn Galveston used to be a great experience, but based on our recent visit, I can’t recommend it. If you’re looking for a well-run park with good customer service, look elsewhere.
