点评:I hate to be the bearer of bad news but: my visit was recent with the intent of purchasing a few pies. While there were quite a few pies available they all had a "sell by date" of the day following my visit. That indicated to me that they had been on the shelf for a number of days. I asked the clerk behind the counter if there were any pies which would be fresher and was immediately told by someone else "NO". Even though I could clearly see the clerk behind the counter packaging, what I would presume, were fresher pies. I can only assume the pies available were going to be discarded by the next day and that a new batch would replace the discarded ones given the sell by date. Would it had been the right customer service thing to do to offer "fresher" pies? Or is it store policy to sell whatever they can regardless of the date status to limit their loss? Needless to say, I passed on the purchase since my intent was to bring them to a holiday party and did not want to appear as if I shopped stale products clearly marked. I have frequented your store on numerous occasions but will now think twice before returning. As a point of interest, I went to Bishop's in Guilford and was sold fresh from the oven pies. That is customer service!
