Site 333 - Invasive Fellow Campers

点评：Killbear Provincial Park is by far one of my favourite camping areas of all time. The trails are beautiful, well kept beach areas, courteous staff and clean washroom facilities. My complaint is specifically about Site No. 333 in Beaver Dams. We were stoked that we were able to book a site directly on the water and reserved this site in January 2024 for July. First time ever being able to camp directly with water access. Sadly it was a terrible experience. The couple at Site 343 kept walking through our site to gain access to the beach. The first time it happened (first day) we politely asked him to refrain from walking through our campsite as the public beach access was right beside our site and clearly marked but he ignored this and kept passing through our private site daily. We finally had to call the park ranger/security to ask if they could advise him to use the public access. He told the park ranger the front office told him he could use our site which the park ranger corrected immediately stating that "we had rented the site for the week and it was our private camp site". He refrained for one day then started using it again going so far as to move our lawn chairs and clothesline to gain access to the beach. It ruined our trip and even with our dog's line attached to the tree he still decided to pass through our site daily. We have been camping at Killbear PP for years and this was the first time we had a bad experience. Moral of the story - you cannot control who your neighbours are so if you like privacy pick a site further from the beach.
