点评：Staying in a nearby rental for the Cup series race, we got an early start at 12pm departing for the race beginning at 3. We encountered traffic but figured it was minimal and we had enough time. A bit further down the road, suddenly traffic was approaching from three different direction converging onto a single two lane road towards the raceway. We noticed grassy fields on either side with just a few vehicles parked here and there. Unfortunately most vehicles were prohibited from entering due to excessively muddy surfaces from the previous nights rainfall. So we were in a line of a few hundred vehicles crawling past then away from the race track as race time was quickly approaching. Eventually we, along with all other motorists, just pulled off the main road and parked. It was about a half mile walk to the raceway dodging the never-ending traffic. We finally arrived at the venue just about 3 pm as the anthems were beginning. We had decent seats in FS5 with a nice view of most of the track. The pedestrian walkway over the track was convenient allowing us to stroll around to several Nascar merchandise areas. We also had a great view from here as the drivers approach and cross the start/finish line. The large screen and great audio allowed us to keep up with race status in real time. It was an exciting race that started on time with only 2 cautions luckily. The Watkins Glen experience was overall really exciting. If only Nascar would invest in some desperately needed parking improvements instead of having spectators park at a major sporting event in a grassy field with no drainage.
翻译：为了观看杯赛，我们租了附近一处房子，中午12点就出发前往下午3点开始的比赛现场。路上遇到了一些堵车，但感觉车流量不大，时间也足够。然而，没过多久，突然发现三个方向的车流汇聚到一条通往赛道的双车道公路上。我们注意到公路两旁是草地，零星停着几辆车。可惜的是，由于前一晚的降雨导致路面泥泞不堪，大部分车辆都被禁止进入。于是，我们和其他几百辆车一起，缓慢地驶离赛道，眼看比赛时间就要到了。最终，我们和其他司机一样，只好把车停在路边。从停车场走到赛道大约半英里，一路躲避着川流不息的车流。下午3点左右，我们终于到达了赛场，国歌也开始奏响。我们的座位在FS5区，视野不错，可以看到赛道的大部分区域。横跨赛道的步行通道很方便，我们可以沿着通道走到几个纳斯卡周边商品区。从这里我们视野极佳，可以清楚地看到车手们驶近并冲过起跑/终点线。大屏幕和出色的音响效果让我们能够实时掌握比赛动态。这是一场激动人心的比赛，幸运的是，比赛准时开始，期间只出现了两次黄旗。沃特金斯格伦赛道的体验总体来说非常精彩。真希望纳斯卡能够投资改善一下急需的停车设施，而不是让观众在大型体育赛事期间把车停在没有排水系统的草地上。
