Childress Vineyards的点评
点评：I attempted to book reservations at the Childress Winery Bistro and was told they didn't take same day reservations. I'm not sure why if there are tables available so I inquired about showing up at the venue. The "Concierge" rep on the phone told me that they do not like walk-ups and discouraged me from doing so. I explained that I felt like she did not want my business and she hung up. I decided to show up at the Bistro since I live nearby and nearly half of the tables were available.
I inquired about getting a table and was finally seated, but it went downhill from there. My party waited 15 minutes and nobody ever came by the table so we decided to leave and found another place to dine. Since I live nearby I have always been proud to bring out of town guests to Childress, but this was the final straw. I have witnessed the friendliness and food quality steadily decline over my past few visits this year and will not be bringing guests by anymore. I took co-workers there in June for a birthday celebration and would have found better quality food at a food truck by a nearby gas station. I look forward to seeing the Bistro permanently close or to find a sign stating, "under new management." I'm so embarrassed and ashamed the owner has allowed the property to deteriorate like this. But fortunately there are nearby competitors who desire my business.
