Solid small zoo, fairly expensive. Skip encounters.
Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo的点评
点评:In short, we were disappointed. We have not visited for about 7 years, but dreamed of coming back for their magical animal encounters- particularly the lemurs. The major development in recent years expanded the costs, but I am not convinced the patron experience is majorly improved. Animal enclosures seem appropriate by today’s standards. Lots of walking, many more money spending areas (gift shop, snack shop, carousel, etc. )
The lemur encounter was such a disappointment… We had to find an employee to honor our timed ticket. Lots of waiting around and wandering. Then there were three timid, very cute lemurs. Completely fine, but not worth $25/ person. The past encounters (many years back) were epic with many, many lemurs freely interacting for less than $10. Maybe the change is more ethical? But not much to write home about. We will pass in future.
Very solid zoo for a small town. It felt very commercially driven, which is standard.
