Impressive building but visitor experience a little underwhelming.

点评：Well worth a visit to this UNESCO World Heritage listed building although the visitor experience is a tad underwhelming the building itself isn't. We were there on a sunny Sunday afternoon and there were lots of people enjoying themselves around the site including the bistro cafe at the rear and the musical fountains but not that many venturing in to the building itself. There was no grand entrance - just a regular door on the side of the building which takes you into the small shop and you can purchase your ticket. There is then a small display area including some virtual headsets where you can learn about the history and construction of the building and then you can enter into the interior itself but only onto a small part of the seating area. The building is still used for assorted events and was currently laid out for basketball I think. The construction is very impressive but I was disappointed not to be able to enter the main floor and look up directly at the centre of the dome.
