点评:Was in the area for an annual convention, and after doing an online search for french dip sandwiches, this establishment came up. Was a little hesitant due to some reviews mentioning dress-code, reservations, and general Chicago steak house prices, but the staff member at the front assured me that my casual attire was fine for lunch, and walk-ins were welcome. The interior of the restaurant seemed pretty classy for this person of simple tastes, and the waiters attentive and professional. An appetizer of bread came first, followed soon after by the main course. The thinly-sliced prime rib was tender enough to melt in your mouth, and while some folks might object to the french fries being hot, but not crisp, that's just a telltale sign these were fresh cut potatoes. Just one of the 2 sandwiches filled me up, and I had to ask for a take-out box. Fresh au jus in a container was also provided, which was a nice touch. On a slight downside, it wasn't until I checked the box later that I discovered that both sandwiches did not have an equal distribution of meat, so the one I took back to the hotel was mostly sandwich roll. That quibble aside, if I'm attending another convention in the area, I'll drop by again.
