点评：Recently, we embarked on a memorable road trip from Mweya Safari Lodge to Kibale National Park, and it was indeed an experience to cherish.
The drive was far better than any I have had before; the smooth winding road characterised by stunning green scenery and baboons all over made our trip extremely enjoyable.
Upon arrival at Kibaale at 2:00 pm – our scheduled tracking time, we were warmly welcomed by the Uganda Wildlife Authority officers. Their briefing was concise and informative, setting the adventurous mood for a close encounter with our distant relatives - the chimpanzees.
Leading our group was Officer Prosy, whose expertise and enthusiasm were evident throughout the adventure. We immediately entered into the dense tropical jungle for over 30 minutes, navigating through thick undergrowth until we finally spotted the chimps. This face-to-face experience was exhilarating; seeing these incredible creatures up close was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Officer Prosy and her team ensured that we had the best vantage points while adhering to the strict safety protocols of the park.
Finally, we left with profound appreciation for both the chimpanzees and the dedicated UWA staff who made this trip unforgettable. Surprisingly, we were awarded Certificates for Chimpanzee Tracking – quite professional.
This adventure is undoubtedly worth experiencing for anyone looking to connect with nature in such a unique and breath-taking way. Highly recommended!
