Nice hotel apart from the noise
White Hart Hotel, Room Bar的点评
点评：The hotel has clearly been recently refurbished and looks very stylish throughout. Great location in the town centre. The bar area was lively and busy, creating a great atmosphere but quite noisy if you werent prepared for this. Our room was lovely—spacious, modern, and spotlessly clean.
Unfortunately, the biggest downside was the noise. Our room overlooked the main street, and the shouting and laughing outside continued well into the early hours, making it very difficult to sleep.
Breakfast time was a bit odd, you have to choose a sitting (for us it was 08:00-09:15 or 09:15-10:00). Everyone arrives at the same time for breakfast because you know you only have 45 mins. Hot food was ordered at your table, the continental was a well stocked buffet. The staff were friendly and tried their best but the people at the next table to us described it as Fawlty Towers. You were given a menu when you sat down and were offered tea and coffee. We didn't get our drinks until we had reminded them twice and oher people had the same issue. Staff kept bringing food out and taking them to the wrong tables, they didnt seem to know who had ordered what. I dont know if there was an issue that morning or if this is a regular occurance. There was porridge on the menu and someone asked for this and was told the only porridge available was the prepacks tubs of gluten free porrige that you added water to (they did offer to bring the water). There were small lamps on every table and one of the waiters knocked ours over twice when he was serving people at the next table. Not a great breakfast expereince but it was certainly entertainin gin the 45 mins we were permitted to sit!
