We have eaten here a few times since they came under new management just before Christnas. We have enjoyed every meal we have had here. The food is freshly cooked and really tastey and value for money. We held a family party for 21 people in Feb (including 4 vegans) and the meal from start (pre-ordering for that number of people) to the end of the meal was nothing short of amazing. The staff are so welcoming and attentive. Nothing is too much trouble. The landlords are striving to make this the place to be. It is well on its way to that. They and their team are awesome. We will definitely be back again soon as we want to give their steak night a whirl. We may even venture back down the hill to their other pub The Coach House where we have also had amazing food and service.
