点评：Recently booked the function room at the castle for my baby girls christening day only to be completely let down and heartbroken by what we received.
Firstly the room was absolutely freezing, there was no music on and we had been promised use of the upstairs bar only to arrive and find it hadn’t even been set up or stocked. Meaning my guests had to go up and down the stairs for drinks including elderly relatives.
Secondly had booked the buffet for 40 people and what we received wasn’t even enough for half of that! From my calculations it worked out at 1.2 sandwiches each (not a whole one, a quarter of one)! Do you actually think that’s acceptable? To be charged £480 for that is ridiculous, if it were my business I’d be embarrassed!
Lastly, made rude comments about the children that had attended the christening making us feel hugely uncomfortable and upset. Staff have since lied about what occurred on that day but they know the truth and I hope they’re ashamed for their lies.
Completely ruined what was supposed to be a special day for me and my family. Leaving us sad and heartbroken….💔
