Phitsanulok Railway Station的点评
点评：Phitsanulok Railway Station is located on the Northern Line between Bangkok and Chiang Mai. This station is a real hub of activity, right in the center of town, shops, stalls, traffic, a big hotel and dozens of tuk tuks, moto-taxis and other transport. Of the 120 stations along the line, Phitsanulok is probably the busiest (in a wonderfully chaotic Thai manner), moreso even than Ayutthaya.
There are seven trains daily that run the full route and a few others that pass through but don't go the whole way. Getting in, I took the 102 Rapid Service from Uttaradit and then two days later, the same service south to Bangkok. I booked both tickets the day before travel with no issues, although in both cases, the later Number 8 Special Rapid was booked out.
Note that it's cheaper to buy a ticket in person at the station than to book online.
From the station, I took s shared taxi to my hotel for 60 baht, easy peasy.
