点评：We told our guide we were eager to visit an elephant sanctuary, and I had already come across ElefanJoy in my search. To our delight, our guide also highly recommended it, mentioning it was not only an ethical choice but also conveniently located near the fort. As I was struggling a bit with the heat, we decided to go early in the day—and I’m so glad we did.
What a truly marvelous experience. We arrived just in time to see the elephants bathing in the lake, a serene and heartwarming sight. Then came the highlight: one-on-one time with the gentle and beautiful Moon Moon (apologies if I’m spelling that incorrectly).
We had the chance to feed her, wash her, and treat her to some of her favorite snacks. There was absolutely no time pressure—we felt welcome to ask as many questions as we liked, and the staff were genuinely passionate, kind, and knowledgeable. The atmosphere was calm, respectful, and full of care for the elephants.
I cannot recommend ElefanJoy enough. It was a deeply meaningful and unforgettable experience, and I’m so grateful for the time we spent there. If you’re considering a visit—do it. You won’t regret it.
