Serene relaxing full board overnight Cruise

点评：I found out about the Oscar Cruise online & made enquiries about the Houseboat Cruise and was contacted promptly through WhatsApp by David agreeing what I felt was a truly good value package for our party of 3.
Arrival was straightforward with transfer from their office to the site where the Houseboat was moored and arrangements courteously handled by David & Amberley. There was a genuineness to their approach seeking our satisfaction.
The rooms were comfortable with AC. It was a traditional but well maintained 2 room boat with an amazing glass table with neat divisions of various Indian spices visible underneath.
There was a lounging area in the front of the boat with comfortable cushions to recline on and watch the canal and beautiful palm trees go by. I confess spending most of the time in this serene tranquil spot with occasional chats with the captain Shaji the captain & Jose 2nd in command.
Benny the cook served up a lovely lunch, supper and breakfast and all 3 made sure we were comfortable.
Where we moored for the night was a quiet village where we took a walk accompanied by Jose.
David had kindly made arrangements with a taxi driver Rajeeb, to pick us up in the morning. Rajeeb ended up ferrying us around to tourist spots due to his experience and local knowledge, and to our next destination in Athirappilly, & the next day to the airport.
