点评：Recently turning 40 I took the plunge and stopped procrastinating about getting back into the air in a small aircraft after having done flight training in a small fixed winged GA aircraft in my early 20’s. I have been reading about and watching videos on the amazing machines that are Gyrocopters and thought ‘well this thing ticks all the boxes so it seems like the thing to try’.
ABSOLUTELY UNREAL! would be how I sum up the gyrocopter. If you want something recreational that is immensely fun to fly but affordable then get in a gyro!
Its handling and stability in gusty conditions was beyond brilliant. I thought for sure we would have been bobbing all over the place but instead we easily handled the conditions and NOT ONCE did we get impacted by gusts or thermals and have any turbulence…… mind blowing.
The safety and ability to not stall the rotor wing is also just sensational!
Hopefully that gets my point across about the gyro but also to have experienced the day with Oli was second to none. He is easy going and down to earth but very focused on procedure, safety and your involvement and enjoyment. I have had some cowboy instructors in the past but Oli is someone I would entrust from my one joy flight through to full training without hesitation.
Sight seeing or training, Oli and the gyro is your go to! Thankyou once again Oli and I will be back without a doubt.
