Well located and pleasant lodge for birding

点评：Stayed with friends, for two nights as part of a three-week birding trip to North Peru.
This lodge is well located for birding with nice grounds, good access to the forest trails above and active hummingbird feeders.
The food was good including the vegetarian offering, with soup to start and a small desert, as well as the main course; but there was no choice of evening meals. Breakfast included excellent coffee plus eggs, fruit and bread etc. The fruit juices were very nice.
The cabins were very pleasant with nice pictures both inside and out, comfortable beds and showers with good flow and temperature (although there was no hot water in the basin).
The place had a slightly run-down feel overall with no other guests while we were there and we didn't see any staff except at meals and checkout.
Overall, however, this was an enjoyable and comfortable stay in a pleasant lodge.
