Muscle Shoals Sound Studio的点评
点评：We visited all three sound studios (FAME, MSSS and Cypress Moon) with the Cypress Moon Studio being our favorite. MSSS came in third although it was very interesting and a worthwhile visit it just didn't feel genuine and our guide, Chase had a strange way of delivering the tour. He constantly left long pauses after every few sentences ... not sure if this was to emphasis his points or leave time for questions or accolades.
Our group was also too big - not enough seats in the basement room for everyone and difficult to see/hear his explanations as we toured. The tour is very similar to FAME providing a time-line, playing famous songs and talking about the instruments. That's why I liked Cypress Moon so well, it has a completely different atmosphere and didn't feel so commercialized.
But it's certainly a great way to soak up the amazing musical history of the area and I do recommend attending the MSSS along with the other two studios.
