New River Gorge Bridge的点评
点评：This is a sight you must see. You don’t really have to go out of your way to see it. When traveling north and south in West Virginia, you often are on a road that crosses it, and Rt. 19 is often a north-south shortcut and no tolls. However driving across it is a bit underwhelming. You don’t see much. To see it better you have to stop and get out of the car to take it all in and the best way to do this is to go to the Canyon Rim Visitors Center less than one mile off Rt. 19 on the northern side. There are many observation points, none take more than 15-20 minutes to reach. There is no charge to enter the National Park, nor the visitors center, nor to see the movie about the bridge or museum. You only pay if you walk across the bridge in the catwalk under the roadway and that’s about 100.00 per tour. On the other hand, it is free to take the road that goes under the bridge or the hiking trails that go under or lead to dramatic vantage points.
