点评：The green vault exhibits the treasure collection of the Dresden Castle. There are altogether 10 rooms, with the 10th room located in the lobby area after you getting the ticket and the audio guide. It is recommendable first to examine the treasure in the open lobby area, before go through the security entrance (there is a controlled entrance and exit, in which only 2 people is allowed every time to enter and exit the treasure vault).
Once in the Vault, there is: 1. Entrance Champer (with enamel works from Limoges), 2. Amber Cabinet (beautiful), 3. Ivory Room: carved art pieces made from real ivory, 4. Silver Room (many melt down when needed for war effort), 5. Silver Gilt Room: gilded silver as well as gold drinking vessels, 6. Hall of Treasures: vessels made of colored gems and amber, mussels and ostrich eggs, 7. Coats of Arms Room, 8. Jewel Chamber: crown jewels of the Saxon-Polish royalty and rings, chains, medallions and gems. Includes the statues "Moor with Emerald Cluster", "Jewel Garniture" and "Obeliscus Augustalis". [some get stolen during a heist in 2019], 9. Bronze Room and Room of Renaissance Bronzes.
You can purchase a combo ticket that grant you the access to the other museums after visiting the Green Vault. We didn’t purchase the combo ticket as we are short on time. After visiting the Green Vault, you can take a walk on top of the wall of Dresden Castle.
