Worthwhile scenic cruise around Jenny Lake

点评：We enjoyed our 1-hour scenic cruise around Jenny Lake!
We took the 8am cruise, and arrived by 7am because we heard of the parking situation at Jenny Lake being a nightmare. If you don’t arrive early, the parking lot fills up and people were parking on the street far from the visitor center and boat dock.
At 7am, we had our pick of parking, and the visitor center is right there with clean restrooms.
We went to the boat dock area after a pit stop at the restrooms, and there was already a decent line for the shuttle. Employees of the boat dock were waiting next to the line to check in those who had tickets for the cruise so we didn’t have to wait in the shuttle line. Then we were able to sit along the rock wall and wait for our boarding time.
I believe the boat holds around 30 people. You could sit 3 on one side and 2 on the other. There was 5 in our party so we took up one whole row. With it being a smaller boat, views were the same from either side.
Captain was friendly and had interesting stories. The cruise lasted about 1 hour. We did not see any wildlife during our cruise except an osprey nest. The day before ours people mentioned seeing a moose on the cruise. While waiting at the boat dock, we saw a family of ducks (Common Mergansers - a mom and babies).
Warning - you can get a little wet if you are seated closest to the water. Not enough to make you uncomfortable, but enough that you will want to protect your camera equipment if you bring one (I had to cover my camera with telephone lens with my extra sweatshirt).
It was a good experience to try at least once, especially if you want to see Jenny Lake but don’t care to hike it.

船长很友善，讲了很多有趣的故事。游船行程大约持续了一个小时。除了一个鱼鹰巢穴，我们这次游船之旅没有看到任何野生动物。前一天有人提到在游船上看到了驼鹿。在码头等候的时候，我们看到了一群鸭子（普通秋沙鸭——一只母鸭带着几只小鸭）。
友情提示：如果你坐在离水边最近的地方，可能会被水溅湿。水量不大，不会让你感到不舒服，但如果你带了相机，最好保护好你的相机设备（我不得不把备用卫衣盖在相机的手机镜头上）。
这是一次不错的体验，至少值得尝试一次，特别是如果你想欣赏珍妮湖的美景，但又不想徒步的话。
