Le Chateau Golf Course的点评
点评：We have stayed at Heritage Le Telfair resort on a number of occasions now and always book the Gourmet Bliss package as it includes the golf green fees each day along with a buggy. I have been fortunate therefore to play numerous rounds on the Le Chateau course which I enjoy playing every time.
It offers a good test off the white tees and I had a great time again paired with a good friend each day. The course was in excellent condition with the greens running quick and true and the varying wind direction made it a different challenge each day.
The staff do a great job of making sure everything runs as smoothly as possible especially when it gets busy. Unfortunately there are still golfers who need reminding of the etiquette of the game and explaining the term ready golf….
We enjoyed several lunches in the clubhouse after our rounds and we also had a couple of excellent meals in the O’Grill restaurant in the evening. The menu options are extensive and the food and service we received were excellent. A big thank you to Lorena who looked after us each time.
It was good to see that some more yardage markers and chipping nets had been added which I had suggested in a previous review. Also my suggestion of one round of golf at La Reserve for each week of your stay has also been implemented. To further improve the facilities I would also recommend getting a ‘mobile’ covering for the practice range which can be used by golfers to practice either when it is raining or to protect golfers from the sun. Also consider introducing Top Tracer monitors for the range which would be a major attraction for golfers when the course is closed.
