点评:We visited the famous Eumundi Markets on a Saturday during a four night visit to Noosa in early April 2025. We drove there from Noosa in under 30 minutes despite a truly incredible number of sometimes challenging and not always clearly necessary roundabouts. Although we arrived by mid-morning, parking lots were pretty full, but we were able to find parking in a nearby school lot for a reasonable $8.00 for the day. The market itself was busy but manageable, offering a mixed bag of fresh produce, arts & crafts, fashion, tourist souvenirs, prepared and fast food of many genres and shaded sitting areas for eating. It took several hours to go through hundreds of stalls. The best part of the day was experiencing the market vibe and chatting with some of the vendors and visitors, both locals and tourists. Earlier on our trip to Australia, we had visited the Salamanca Market in Hobart, the Queen Victoria Market and St. Kilda Esplanade Market in Melbourne and the Byron Farmers’ Market in Byron Bay and the Eumundi Markets was by far the largest and most interesting of them. We recommend devoting a half day to visit to the Eumundi Markets if you are in the Noosa area on a Wednesday or Saturday.
