Elora Gorge Conservation Area的点评
点评：Went tubing summer mid-week with friends (much more peaceful than the on slaught of people on the weekends). Rented tubes off-site through Elora Rapids, who were amazing and super easy to pick up and transport into the park (they provide a car-pump so you can deflate and re-inflate to fit tubes in vehicles). Walk down and out of the gorge to tubing is LONG though, especially on a hot day. We walked slowly and it took about 15-20 mins one-way, so plan your footwear according to not only the water, but the walk in.
Once you pick up your tubes off site, you have 2 more stopes, 1) the park entrance to pay an entry fee into the conservation area 2) the tube shop on site to pick up a wrist band which is no cost since you signed waivers with Elora Rapids.
Tubing was spectacular! Some rapids were super fast (depending on water levels) and definitely handle-clutching and scream inducing. While the "lazy river" parts were beautiful and scenic. 100% worth the long walk to do this.
