Rockwood has changed.

点评：I have been going to rockwood with my kids for the last 3 years. Beautiful place to visit without the 2 hour drive.
I just went a week ago solo to kayak.
I finished up, packed up the kayak and stopped at the washroom, within 3 minutes someone had gone into the kayak bag and stole the pump.
People wait at the balcony for people coming or going from the washroom alone. They’ll have someone below the balcony in the grass, waiting for them to hand off what has been stolen without being seen. The park has changed and will only get worse I’m afraid. . Lesson learned I guess. Be aware of who is around you, don’t leave anything unattended especially boating gear. While swimming or going to the washroom. Rock wood will turn into just another one of those low end parks I’m afraid. Guess I’ll take to 2 hour drive away from the untrustworthy people and thieves.
I rate places not only by what the environment looks like.
