点评:Here's how to do it yourself without a tour. Get a local taxi/bus/guagua on the roadside from wherever you are and just ask them to stop at the Damajagua. It's a 200m walk down the drive from the main road. The place is well organised, ticket booth with prices displayed, lockers, guides on site, cafe.
500 peso per person at the desk in 2024. This was for the 7 waterfalls due to lack of water. It seems quite rare for the whole thing to be open. That includes mandatory lifejacket, helmet and guide. Cash only. Lockers are around 200 peso depending on size. On a December weekday afternoon it was very quiet, but looking at the size of the car park it must be horrible when it's busy with buses.
Some of the reviews on here are ridiculous, so here we go with our version.
Guide spoke good English and Spanish.
The walk up is 40 mins on a rocky uphill path. It's comparable to an easy walk in a UK national park. Recommend hiking sandles or tennis shoes, but could do it in water shoes if you wanted.
The stairs and ladders are rickety but pretty safe.
The slides and jumps into the water are a bit bumpy but very safe (you're sliding over rocks, it's not a water park!) Recommend a T shirt to protect from a few scrapes. Walk out is 10 mins downhill.
Overall, very enjoyable, a little short but hey they can't make more waterfalls. Would have been happy to go round again for another 500.
