Relaxing day trip from Krabi
莱利海滩的点评
点评：We were staying in Krabi and walked down the main street to Ao Nang beach. The tickets for the long rail boats are the last shop on your right. Walk down the ramp to Ao Nang beach and climb in the boat.
Watching, some boats are close to shore, and folks get wet up yo your knees. Most people seem to get wet up to mid thigh. So careful of something in your pockets or ladies' lifting skirts. The wave can knock you around a little, just be prepared to get a little wet and not look gracious.
The trip over looks just like the postcard. Sheer rock faces climbing out of the water.
On the beach the fine sand was lovely to walk on, but did get into things. There was plenty of morning shade but less in the middle of the beach as the day progressed.
Lots of places to get lunch, a drink, an ice cream and a few souvenirs. BUT we couldn't find a garbage bin. We were told to take it back to the shop and they accepted it with a smile.
You can walk through to the other side and I am told there is a beach there, but it must be a bit of a walk because I didn't see it.
The isthmus has hotels/resorts across it, but there was not much breeze in the middle, so think about this if you are staying there.
