点评：A beautiful place, I only walked the grounds but it was really lovely, even without the shop, so I'll definitely be back when the shop/ cafe opens, with my family.
I tried a local cafe however after but won't be returning there : ' Cafe Wylfa' in Chirk do not apparently accept cash. I felt humiliated and saddened by the assistant there as I'd been on this fantastic walk with my friend at Chirk Castle and was enthusiastic and full of endorphins, I offered to buy brunch for us both as my friend paid for a lunch last time we were out together. I don't carry a card due to previous cloning/ bank issues, I only use cash. The assistant said I can't take cash, we're card only, I wanted to leave there and then, my feelings changed from happy to upset and sad in an instant, but my friend immediately got a card out and I didn't want to embarrass her though I felt embarrassed as I was made to feel like a chump, when my friend sat down, I hung back and I said to the assistant 'I only use cash you see due to card cloning experiences, so I can't come to card only cafes'... she was actually rude and said a very sarcastic response. Shame on you Care Wylfa, and shame on your insensitive, ageist staff.
