Tired and dirty, confusing layout. Not a relaxing spa experience.
The Spa at Slieve Donard的点评
点评：Arrived to a pleasant welcome, then I was immediately left behind as my fiancée was shown the “female only” spa facilities. She asked , surely I can spend the day with my partner?! And was told there were some communal spa facilities downstairs.
I then had to wait as they looked for the key to the locked male changing room.
I walked into the spa which was empty, no sign of my fiancée , or anyone else for that matter!
I left back towards reception to phone my now disappeared partner.
Had to speak to another member of staff to ask why we couldn’t enjoy the spa together.
Apparently the area I was taken to was unisex, and then proceeded to turn on the spa rooms and jacuzzi jets, all of which had been turned off. Bizarre that there is a female only area, but no male only area. And a mystery , seemingly unused unisex area.
Regardless we tried to make the most of it.
Vitality pool with body jets was dirty, rusty metal and stains. Dirty windows and floors. A scum line on the walls.
We went downstairs to the spa pool which was like a children’s leisure centre, lots of running about and screaming while we tried to use the pool to “relax”.
We had a pleasant massage , thankfully, but overall the experience was disappointing.
